Hot-Shot Motorworks has one of the best Research & Development Laboratories in the country.  Hot-Shot has many years of Engine Design and Development experience.  We are contracted by many of the Harley-Davidson Performance Product Manufactures to do Product Development and Durability Testing on products before they enter the market place.  Hot-Shot also works  closely with Motorcycle and Engine Manufactures on Engine Development for long term and high mileage durability tests for reliability and warranty limitations.

Hot-Shot's engine dyno is a "STATE-OF THE-ART"engine dyno that measures engine activity in real time, not calculated as with chassis dyno's.  Our dyno will allow us to load a pre-programmed program into our computer and simulate, in a controlled environment, engine operations exactly as programmed.  We can do accelerated engine durability tests to simulate 500 miles in one hours time, and do this in a controlled and continuous manner for 10, 25, 50, 100, 200hrs or as many hours needed. 

Hot-Shot uses their dyno to design and test every performance component that we manufacture and components manufactured by other companies that are used in our performance engines and performance packages.  This assures you of the best quality components and performance packages that have the best possible combination of components to allow us to achieve the maximum  performance and reliability from our engines and performance packages.
